The terror suspect, who was sent to 14-day police remand on Tuesday, is being lodged in the Office of the Special Cell located in Lodhi Colony.

During the interrogation, the accused revealed that he had entered India via Bangladesh in 2014 and was in contact with ISI agents from Pakistan. He had also visited Dubai on fake documents. He also identified himself as a 'holy man' based in Delhi-NCR. He also informed the police about his visit to Pakistan in 2005 where he was trained by the Nasir, a Pakistani officer. After training, he was sent back to India in 2014 on a fake passport to Bihar. Advertisement

Police also suspect his alleged involvement in several terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and that an investigation is still underway.

According to sources, many other security agencies, including National Intelligence Agency (NIA) will reach the Special Cell office to interrogate him. Efforts are also being made to gather information from him about various blasts that took place across the country during the last decade. In the investigation so far, the police have come to know that he was not only carrying out terrorist activities but was also spying for the Pakistan intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
